Spinout PR, case study: from mentor to media impact

Mantis MD, Eleanor Willock was matched with Dr Jenny Bailey, CEO at Ferryx, as a mentor for the University of Bristol New Enterprise start-up funding competition in 2019. Jenny and Eleanor worked together on bringing Ferryx’s complex scientific discovery to life for potential financial stakeholders and customers.

After winning a runner’s up place, Ferryx scaled quickly, receiving much investor attention. After scoring further funding, Mantis set about building its first PR campaign and launching its first product development partnership.
